Lewin will be absent for a week or so
I have an exam coming up next week, so I need to take a break from KaM to study. I'll still read the forum but I won't be replying much. After that I have two weeks of holidays so ideally I'd like to do the public release during that time if everything is ready. But I realise there's still a fair bit to sort out before then, translations, shields balance experiments, archer accuracy, possible lag issues, etc.
Please keep me up to date on how testing the release candidate is going by posting on the forum itself, I won't be reading the minichat or joining multiplayer lobbies for a chat. For example, last night there seemed to be a lot of problems with lag, was there any resolution to that? Is it still a problem now?
And please keep talking about how the balance works in multiplayer games. Do you think archers are too accurate now? Are certain strategies always the most effective? Does the shields experiment work in actual games?
I'll be reading all your feedback and pondering about it even if I'm not replying to it all.
