kam editor not working(wrong file)

hello,

i want to try to make a map but Kroms map editor is not working.
It says is can't find map tiles so i have only black and white screen when loading a map.
Probably i put the editor is the wrong folder but i don't know wich i need to use ohterwise(now i use C:KaM remake).
i also put it in C:program files/Kam- the peasant rebellion but still the same error.
i have windows 8 on my pc(don't think this is the problem but anyway).

Hope to get clear answer where to put it.

Hey,
which version of KaMRemake do you have? In my case, the new "nightly"-update and the editor work correct. I putted it into the normal KaMRemake folder i had befor (you have to install the KaMRemake first, look herehttp://www.kamremake.com/download/. Take the full installer, normally it will be installed, the editor is inside the game (normal one), the unofficial update can be downloaded from the devblog.
Important: You need the normal KaM, otherwise it will not work.

Kroms KaM Editor can only work with KaM TSK or Kam TPR. It is not compatible with KaM Remake since long ago. KaM Remake has a built-in map editor now that combines both terrain and DAT script editing in a WYSIWYG way.
