Remake Custom Maps

Okay, so obviously both players need a map before they can play on it together, but how does one even put a custom map in the Remake so it appears on the list of maps?

For singleplayer missions, use the folder Maps.
For multiplayer missions, use the folder MapsMP.

Create your own folder in there and copy the .dat and .map file. Give them the same name as the folder.

Correct:
KaM Remake\MapsMP\Bens Mission\Bens Mission.dat
KaM Remake\MapsMP\Bens Mission\Bens Mission.map

NOT correct:
KaM Remake\MapsMP\Bens Mission\mission1.dat
KaM Remake\MapsMP\Bens Mission\save01.map

You can also put a text file there with the description you want to display.
Look at the existing maps we provide for an example, make sure yours uses the same format.
