Nibenay Basin 8-Player

Hello, my (mostly) overseas friends! :)

Today, after much thought, I am publicising my map, Nibenay Basin. The map is very large, (192x224) contains 8 players, and is very open. However, for reasons I haven't quite figured out, the map is still quite campy. Further, resources are far from the player's starting location, and large amount of cliffs and other unbuildable terrain give the map a slow start.
Nonetheless, some have found this map interesting to play, and since my name is muckened by ugly, stainless, and unplayable maps such as Borderlands, Blitzkrieg, etc., I thought maybe a nicer looking map would help show that I do have some mapmaking skills :P
Many test games have been played on this map, but it has also been changed many times as well. Therefore, it's not as stable as I'd like it to be for a public version of the Remake, so please share your thoughts and replays on improving it should you play it.

Enjoy!

I like your maps (this and Coastal Expedition), I didn't find Nibenay Basin campy when I played it. If someone stays at the same place, the enemy can win easily, because it takes some time to arrive with help.

OH I haven´t seen your topic up to here. I like the map really much, I played like 3 games on top vs bottom, no at left vs right. I think this will turn into a real popular map

Re: Nibenay Basin 8-Player

Had to dig for this topic!

I updated the map. There are many small changes to the map. Some are the most notable are the following:

Location 8 should be harder to defend and be more comparable to location 4

Locations 1 and 8 can now build all iron mines

The fighting area is much more open.
