I've been playing KaM since it came out. I've just started looking into its community and the map editor projects really have me interested. This is the nicest source of the mission file format I could find, however I could not find anything on the .map format. I'm posting here hopeing that sombody could link me with a reply.

Krom should know something about it as he's doing an editor, or then you could contact Qage who made another terrain editor. His e-mail can be found in the editor readme. Too busy to dig it out now.

if you ever come across it I would like to have it. Please don't forget about this thread.

It is all based off The Barbarians Map Description (I assume you have that) but Litude wouldn't publish it on the fan site as TB did not want it published, it got leaked. It explains slightly less stuff but in a more user friendly format.
