Clover

This is the first map I've actually taken seriously and put vague amounts of detail into...

I call it Clover.

It's a simple three-way map, one player in each section, should be fairly balanced and is also pretty small. I've made mission files for both single player and multiplayer. I haven't yet tested the multiplayer mode but I see no reason why it wouldn't work.

As for single player... the AI are poor and I've had to give them extra resources to compensate... but I may also need to give them some starting troops if they're ever gonna stand a chance. But it works anyway.

So... what do you think?

My Opinion:
The idea of your map is good. In multiplayer everyone will have the same chances.
But somehow there aren't very much objects? I just saw a few trees - that's all. What about some stones, trees and wood? Your map looks very empty.
Also the terrain could be elevated a little bit more. Looks very flat to me.
Hills are okay, though they still look a bit articifially.

Go ahead, I can't judge a map at all without viewing the mission for it, so 8)

I hope my feedback can help you :D

Thanks for the feedback :)

I think you're right, I'll try and shove a few more objects in there (there are some, but not enough). And same with the elevation - those were my two primary concerns so I'm glad you mentioned them! I always seem to overestimate the effect of elevation, I'll just go crazy with it

the Bottom player has just a slight advantage that the path is smaller, then the other players maybe make it a bit bigger but don't really have to ^^ nice map :!:

That's a good point... although I think the bottom player has a bit less space to build on so it probably balances out...
