The number of goals is limited

I noticed a quite major limiting factor in map design whilst toying around, you can't have more than 10 goals in your mission or the goals that exceed the amount will be completely ignored by the game :(.
All goal types are counted into this limit, including messages, tutorial, win goals and lost goals.
Thought map designers might find it useful!

Hmm... That is kind of annoying.

However, think of it like this:
Lets say you have a map with 8 players. (so a really large map)
Then lets say you want a goal for each one, i.e. kill your enemies, protect your allies. (that's not always needed, sometimes teams won't need a goal, allies won't need protecting, etc.)
So that takes 8 of your 10 goals, leaving 2 for messages. (excluding the condition based messages already included in the goals) 2 messages is quite a lot. (few original missions use that many)

So it's not that limiting, because you will only reach that limit in a very big mission with lots of messages.

Thanks for telling us about it,
Lewin.

Well the original missions have two goals for each enemy team (destroy all buildings & kill all troops) so that would result in 14 goals (+lost condition) if you had seven enemies. Though from testing I've figured out that it's extremely difficult to manage to tear down an enemy village without getting their army on your heels.

Yes it is annoying. 10 is the maximum, and that is way to few. 20 would have been better... And 2 messages isn't that much... I was planning to make 5 messages for my mission 16, but I think I'm not gonna make it (I had already deleted 18 goals, but with the messages I have still 14 left. The reason for so many goals was that I wanted the player to destroy EVERYTHING from our enemy. All troops, all workers, lots of buildings...).
It's really troubling for me.
