Nah Tommix c mon ! Map is pretty open. You have a lot of possibilities to attack here. Only Bottom of the map is defensive here. Middle and top are open enough. You can strike almost everywhere. In most of map you have only one possibility to finish game - mass attack in one spot. In this map mass attack also can work but imo more important here is attack from many sides in one time.

Thanks Romek, comments like these make it worth all the time I invested in it and also make me want to continue my work on other maps. :) If I only had a little more time... :P

@Tomixx: Locations in the south are defensive, but in a team game this shouldn't be a problem.

Really had to dig deep for this topic!

*mega bump*

Anyway, Dark Lord, do you have plans to update Majestic? The right side really needs some help! It's really a shame because this map is really special :)

I think in most games the top right location is the problem. Propabky because bottom right isn't attack able really .p but top was rushed quite often, when i played the map, so the games were finished after a few min after pt :?

I am well aware right side needs a big update! Location 6 is among the best I think, but 4 and 5 are quite difficult. I am planning on updating it, but I have lots of other stuff to do as well. But you can certainly expect an update sooner or later. :)

Choose "sooner" and nobody gets hurt!

Seriously now, when you update it, please consider making a top verse bottom possibility (for example, 3+6+5 vs 1+2+4) :)

Ok, so I updated MW a little. Since sado is in a hurry this isn't tested and I doubt if it's enough to make it completely balanced, but it should at least improve things. Changes:
- Added 15 stones to every storehouse
- Removed 6 trees from location 1
- Moved the little stone mountain to the left of location 4 more to the left
- Created a small forest on the original position of that stone mountain
- Removed 3 trees between the gold and iron of location 4
- Moved the storehouse of location 5 a bit down and to the left
- Changed the position of some trees so it is possible to build right next to your storehouse (location 5)
- Added about 10 trees, some in the north, some in the east (location 5)
- Tried to resolve the gold problem of location 6 (the player was unable to mine all gold). This has not been fixed yet, but it has improved. 248 gold ore can now be mined (other players can mine 260). It used to be 228 gold ore.
You can download the map on TeamSpeak.

I seriously doubt that 12 gold ore is something to fret about. Yes, it could be better, but with all the different things going on in a map, i don't think that it is fair to point at unbalanced resource distribution and say that it "isn't balanced." Besides, location 6 is quite nice.

Yes that's why I don't rush to change it. 228 gold ore on the other hand meant 32 gold ore less than other players = 64 chests and that's quite substantial. But as you already said, location 6 is pretty easy and not the biggest problem on the map.
