Re: thunder's map

Way better than your first map, but i think you got the same problem again. Mountains....certain ones need to be improved imo especially the stone ones.

Re: thunder's map

Hi!

I controled again. Yes, the mountains of multiland aren't the best, but my destiny wasn't that (I tried to make a total equal map what kind of Valley of the Dangerous. That was the idea). I was thinking a lot what do i do with the hillies. I didn"t change them. More, I made a new map, what is random again, but now the bases is random too. :D I hope it will be enjoyable, because every locs are very reach in resources and places. MAybe iron of two locs are further then other six, but I am not thinking it will be problem the players.

Have fun game!

;)

lw.: now i hope the mountains is better then was the last versions ;) :)

Re: thunder's map

The problem is the number behind it imo. And multiland is quite clear why i dont like it i think

Re: thunder's map

About Alice468 - Wow, it's one of best maps I saw since koczis12 Golden Cliffs! I like detailed terrain and way of placing players positions. What to upgrade - in many places you spammed too many trees - it's looking like wall of trees somewhere. I also think few players will have stone problems at longer games. :p

MultiLand requires more work, many mountains are too flat or cutted in ugly way. Coal is too square looking sometimes, and those trees on it will be annoying as hell. And as in Alice - spam of trees somewhere.

I like your plateaus using style. Keep up your work - you are on good way to perfection! :)

Re: thunder's map

Interesting maps :) Although they do need some improvement as others suggested.

As for stone tiles, yes if you look on the tiles tab in Krom's map editor the ones on the right last longest, each time the stone mason mines the stone it gets "weaker" changing to the tile on the left. When the leftmost tile is mined, it turns to grass. So if you made the hill entirely out of the leftmost tile, each tile would disappear after only 1 mine. The rightmost tile will take 5 mines.
There are two rows of stone like this, but the values in the column for each row is the same, there is just two tiles for each stone intensity level to make it look more random.

Re: thunder's map

:)
I repaired some problems, but i don't feel that now better.

Alice:I cut out more than 150trees from the map and added more stones to every locs.

Multiland2: changed form of coals and the mountains, and cut out the trees. But i would't like to modified the basic form of the hills of resources because, nearly equal. i know they arent the most beautiful...

DeadRivers: what will it happen with the 4 harbor if the water is exhaust from the rivers?
