KaM Chat

Nobody really uses our chat channel (www.kamremake.com/chat) much these days, which is a shame because while a forum is a great place to have structured discussions, more things are possible in a chatroom.

For this reason we are trying a new idea called KaM Chat. Rather than joining the channel and hoping that someone else will be on there to talk, we will have a weekly time where people all go online to chat about things at the same time. Krom and/or I will try to attend them so you can ask us questions, give us suggestions, find out what we've been working on, and motivate us to keep working on the Remake.

Interesting discussions/ideas could be copied from the chat onto the forum for others to read and comment on.

Maybe it will be the best idea since sliced bread! Only one way to find out, so we hope you'll get involved

Automatic timezone conversions

Please keep in mind this is 2am in Australia so I won't be able to make it to all of them

If some more people had BNCs then at least we'd be able to make a fake crowd there Not to mention that IRC could be a good way to contact devs quickly then. IRC is a great extension for rapidly growing gaming communities (like this one). I'm in, all the evenings are ok for me.

It may be cool idea. But I think it should start earlier, because of times different. 16:00 maybe will be good time, especially on Saturday and Sunday.

Yes, maybe eventually. But if there's a chat on two days, the people will be divided: some will go to the chat on friday, some on saturday. And if we don't have that many people the chats won't be very interesting
