Well since looking at the original worldmap in GUIMAIN.rx, i learned that its just a blank canvass that has images placed, changed and removed on it during the course of the game, this is very easy to re-do if i knew which DAT file stores the information (this would be the file loaded after the victory screen / video) but for now this gives a few options

1) program the game to load an individual image for every scenario after the victory sequence. (very hard)

2) Upload a different image (custom map) into GUIMAin.rx and the original markers would be placed. (easiest Option)

3)hope that someone has found random commands in already decoded datfiles such as a sequence of image placements. (hopefully)

The map is actually a grid if magnified close enough wich has specific tiles the placeing of images likley goes off co-ordinated commands.

The green and purple backgrounds are automatically filtered out of images when putting them on a worldmap

I think Krom also has acquired this knowledge from somekind of source, or mabe he decoded it himself (dunno), as unless I'm totally mistaken, all object graphics in his editor are taking straight from the game graphic files.

GR was made by The Barbarian, and as you may know. He has given up all his work on KaM.
Also he wasn't going to give you any information on what so ever!
