Re: Strangelove's Campaign: The Barbarian King
Yeah it's the same for me, I have recently worked on some new maps but usually I couldn't find anyone who play/test these maps. So I have quite abbandoned mapmaking; Dynamic scripts always gets my interest, so maybe I will take a look at your scripts, after I've played the various maps
I think you made a really good work, so it isn't wasted time for me
You are welcome to check out the scripts if you want to. Maybe you can help me understand them once again. I got no idea how I was able to script those hahaha.
I could try to help you with story, as well as with testing. I enjoyed playing it back then, will surely like to see whole campaign completed . Don't say it's a waste of time, KaM has it ups and downs with players, but there are still many players enjoying the game and there's still some income of new players, so it's not that bad. I also think you did good work, so keep it up!
There's still chance for another release (with some fixes and some useful features implemented), so another campaign would be perfect
If there is even the slightest chance of a new release at some point, I'll try to finish and polish it before that. Might even be able to get somebody to draw a proper worldmap for me, even tho it might cost me a few bucks.
BTW, found a little error in one of the scripts. Seems like I added some random bs by accident while the file was open in the background. I will repack and reupload the campaign today.
If you want, you can even fix it by yourself: In "TBK09.script", Line 92, after the code there is a "vb" - just delete it and it works flawless.
Best regards,
Strange~
