With Krom's map editor, is there a way you can move your position in the editor by moving your mouse Left or right to make the editor move that way? Like to make it where you don't need to click on the mini map to move your view, just slide your mouse left or right.

Sadly no. The only other way to move around the map is by using scrollbars on right and bottom.

My personal preference is to move around by dragging the mouse around on the mini-map. It may take some getting used to, but it is much easier and faster.

Hopefully KaM Remakes MapEd will be good enough to forget about all old editors )

*MapEd will have no undo/redo just yet, it will be added after release as an update
