Dicsoupcan's maps

Well as you can see i also decided to make maps. I have not bene very succesfull yet but i am going to post a map i worked on.
It is playable, the resources are not completely balanced, and i need some better visuals. But i have to note that this map was only a testmap for me, i had no actual gameplay in mind.

anyway if the idea is good i might make a map like this that is better, since i think this one is way to large to fight on.

Good job Disco, here the things I noticed:
+ buildingspace
+ amount of resources on map
+ fairly balanced
+ not all resources in 1 screen

- way too less elevation
- no specific characteristics on the map which makes it a little dull
- mountains make it a little too much in favor of defender
- coalfields dont look smooth
- startingresources are too high so markettraders will have advantage
- startingtroops are useless imo

And remember, the larger the map, the more likely it will lag ingame.

I agree with To, I know it's just a test map but you need to work on elevation, object placement and just the terrain itself (tiles). ;)

Hey, I kinda like your map. Well done!

Although I do have a question, why do I immediately have victory?
Or is this normal?

Hey there, well the script should work fine except the center screen commands. you should not get an immediate victory as long as you got an ai or human player extra in it.

Oh right, I wasn't playing MP. I'm kinda new to the remake lol.

I really appreciate that you like my map, it encourages me to make more andimprove old maps. One question did you just place some ai players or did you have an actual game? becausethe town next to you was supposed to be your ally :P

Oh hahaha oops.
Well I just played skirmish, now I played multiplayer and it's working fine.

And I guess more people like this map but just aren't interested in leaving feedback. :P
