You can still place Town Halls and Siege Workshops for the Remake via Lewin's editor, and even the resources will be delivered, but you can't use them ;)

Vas, could you send the campaign to me? I'd love to test it :D Also translations if it's needed.

I just finished the campaign, it took me some time because I failed on 3rd mission and I ragequited. :D
I really enjoyed it! Cheer mates :)

only with latest nightly build:

need constructive criticism. also replays/savegames (.bas .sav .rpl out of the saves-folder)

put all files into Maps -> press F11 -> Open Mission... -> VAS** -> VAS**.dat

and please: no stupid questions!

Well I hadn´t time for your missions right now, so sad. However I wanna make some first points:

Positive is like your campaign, that is already in the remake, is that your maps looks really nice and your new missions also bring really new ideas into it, with scripting.

What I wanted to "critizize" up to here:

Vas13 is quite easy, at least with the storehouse in the north. I just rushed for some iron and with that 15 knights and some bowmen I won the whole mission :) I also didn´t get why I should "help" the farmers cities, but only because there are no messages in the mission, right now :D I am not sure if you are interested in a replay from that mission, its from the r5xxxx version, because you sent it to me, before the nightly was out xd

Vas14 is really special. Never saw such an idea also "not to let the enemy pass the road". Only one small "beauty" thing: Maybe you could let the army disapear at the end of the map, to the left, because when you loose and you click "continue watching" it looks a bit strange, why you lost when those soldiers are stayting there behind the walls of your city :mrgreen:

Vas18: Sorry if that is a "stupid question", but was it planned from you, that the human player can see the whole map from the beginning? :D


*I am using nightly to test all missions, except for Vas13.


Btw Vas, with which command you set the "agressiveness of town defence for ai players" in the remake for your missions? In my current mission I´m playing, I can easily take single groups out of their city and destroy nearly the whole city, but they won´t attack me :mrgreen: !VAS15! I will send you my replay, when I will finish that :D

And here my replay of Vas15:

+Really nice ideas like everytime
+Good not easy starting attack(when your soldiers gets into the range of blue bowmen :P )
+Hard mission with coal and gold(had to trade for goldore and coal)

-Maybe too hard with coal, I mean with that coal no iron is really possible :D
-Never get attacked(Because I finished the map after exact 2 hours ? )
-Ai "Defence" should be really changed. Specialy in the last village and the main city, I could pick groups by groupy with one bowmen(I think you can set the defence radius bigger)


Had really fun with that mission, my city looks strange, because of that huge roads, but it was still funny to play it :-)

Not sure, but Vas please watch your Vas01 mission again in the r6060 Nightly. AFter the whole map gets foged, some regions are revelead again, because of moving sefs(revealing these areas).
That shouldn´t work like that, and it didn´t in r50xx.


Not sure if Lewin didn´t just fixed it or if there is any other problem with fog of war, coming into problems with your script

It did this in r5503 too I think. That's normal behaviour from the game, moving units belonging to the player will reveal the map. If this is not what you want you'll need to fix it in the script. The change Pawel linked to does not affect this situation.

How is the next chapter of the campaign progressing? We'd really like to include it in the next release :)
