Hello,

I downloaded a campaign and some single player maps. Placed them in the correct maps and everything.
I can start them up in the game, it is there, but just before loading "scripts" it gives an error which says there is a fault in the .dat file of the map.
"Exception: ..." says nothing, any idea?

Says nothing, but I tried in the new update beta RC3 and it works, so I will just wait for new update

It said it couldn't load the .dat file of the map, and gave no explanation "Exception: "
so I probably did something bad

Could it be that you have opened a map specifically designed for RC3 or later in a older r4179 version?

I looked it up.

Seems you're correct. The author states "Recommanded Beta RC3 on old version can not work", I feel dumb.
