I'm still for it to let the players vote :D not that it should solve trolling, like I said, I think that this system would open new roads to troll people as the host, with abusing yhe ban system just because he brang the idea to play with X1, 0 speed :mrgreen:

@Pawel: How is the host going to troll players if he just bans them from the room? Isn't that the same as password-locked rooms? ;)

Well it depends. Let's say we have 8 players. The host has no time and trolls you. He bans you from that room and leaves himselves. A new guy is the host, but the banned player can't join that room, right? Or will be the bans reseted, when the host left that room?

@Pawel, remember that:
The ban (...) lasts until the room/lobby becomes empty.
So even if that troll-host leaves, the other will leave too if they want to play with you. If not, you can make another lobby and gather some players as a fair host :).

I can see your point and you're right, that it could be abusable, but this kind of situations will be extremely rare. Bans are great sollution for most of inappropriate behaviours.
And also:
This banning system is not designed to stop trolling.
Without honour, victory is hollow.

The bans are not reset when the host changes, because often you still want to keep the bans when the host changes. However, whenever someone is banned it shows a message in the chat "Lewin was banned from this lobby". So if that player shouldn't have been banned the new host can go to the lobby settings popup and click "reset all bans" (you can't pick and choose individual bans, I doubt the reset feature will be used often enough to make that worth implementing).

Some bugs:

1) When you select a troop, while it's exiting the Barracks, it shows this text on the left (under unit's image): Image
After selecting again, it's back to normal.

2) Half-trees: Image

It suppose to show a tree in shadow while exploring (in r5503 it's like that), but here it just cuts the tree like that. It happened on top of the map.

3) Disappearing Delivery/repair buttons (in all buildings): Image
It happens after you select a planned building (when builder approaches it and begin his work). The same, when you demolish a building or just select this option and cancel.
Without honour, victory is hollow.

Fixed.

That's a bug in fog of war rendering when sprites overhang the map boundaries. I'll ask Krom to look into it, rendering is mostly his area.

BUGs

1. In editor ---> Terrain Editing --> Brush ---> and we select : Square-Shaped Brush and we do something ok... now ----> we e.g. click --> Heights ---> and another back to Brush ALWAYS return to Circle-Shaped Brush :( Shortly wrote: The game does not remember brush settings :((

2. In editor in PL language : text overlaps on each other text :( In ENG is short and good.

True. This isn´t a problem since the Nightly, in the official version it is the same, for example at the Statistics screen, that the 2 last letters in the polish language are/were cut of, missed :p

Hey I just tested the new nightly and I really like the new featue. However I wanted to ask, if you want to let the "style" be like it is now? In my opinion the simple "line" in the player color isn´t that beautiful, in comparision with that nice made flag :mrgreen: It doesn´t fit well.

I tried also sth, to let with the ends of the flag be like a road, but that looks even worse, i guess? :D

Because I´m not sure, how the answer was in the last realease, but

will you change that lighting function at the win7 taskbar(only when someone joins, instead of each text) or you find it ok?
and when I tested the map trans system and I "refreshed the map" while he downloaded it, the system stucked for a while. Maybe there should be a blockade for the host, not be able to switch maps while downloading? :p


Ai is behaving now better, because of the autoattack and also the ai attacks better, when you shoot with bowmen from two sides on one group of horses for example. In old release, you could "cheat" this way and let the horses dance between those 2 shooting bowmen group :p
Square standard formation was also fast added. Good job, didn´t found any issues there,yet.
