None of my cheap hdd's ever crashed on me, could be luck..
The QX6850 is quite cold, without overclocking it only gets to 28 degrees on full load (air cooling though!), seems like G0 stepping worked out rather well (remember Intel's NetBurst processors? lol.)
Ive seen a Penryn going for ?820 and I bought my QX6850 for ?860, a bit odd.. maybe it was a fake?
The 4GB RAM then, well seeing as they're putting 2GB in normal computers, a good one must have 4GB (right?) someday I'm going to need it (so far the most I've seen in-use was 3GB)
