i agree with to his post. akthough i also have to say that a starting mapmaker has to make at least 10 maps before he get to a decent level in my experience ^^.

Thats also true but what I mean is that there are too many ''mapmakers'' here that work on a map for like one afternoon and present it here as their latest masterpiece. In other words, good maps require alot of work/time imo. So I have no idea how this particular map will be like when its finished but since they're working on it for some time already for me is a good sign

Just wanted to let you know you are using the name of my clan, minecraft server, 7 Days to Die Server and my website which I have used for a very long time. Might want to change it up a bit since you are likely to confuse people using a name that already belonged to someone else. Good Day.

How dare you, to use the name of someone's map for your minecraft server .

I am not the author of this map, so I haven't got anything to say about the name.
But I don't think it is logic to claim a name that only you can use or any one else.
For things like Knights and Merchant maps or Minecraft servers, they should be free to use.
I understand it is annoying, but I don't think we really can do things about this

Madman, I don't think it's gonna confuse people. When they'll be looking for Mineceraft related stuff, they'd figure out it's not the site they were looking for (no Jedi trick intended). Also, it's only a map name, not server or mod or something. It's not shown in public, it's used in game. It's more like a tribute .

That's my opinion. It's still up to map authors to decide what to do.

While I don't think such a name for a KaM map can be considered stealing the name from you (I'm not even sure that's what you're accusing them of, you just told them in a polite way that they might want to change it, so people won't confuse it with your server), since it's quite obvious you both operate in very different areas/games (it's like with trademarks, when similar names are often used if both companies operate in very different industry sectors).

Having said that, I don't like the map's name at all - it's impossible to make convincing Minecraft-like map in KaM, cause the games are very different, so the name of the map just looks to me like it's trying to get some extra attention in a cheap way (because people know Minecraft already, so there's a good chance they will want to check out a Minecraft-like map).

Will this map be ready for the new version? I love it!
