Why the hell does KaM have 2 identical units?

Why does TPR let you make an army with only gold? Why does TPR have catapults and balistae which magically drive around the map with nobody pushing them? That's why we made a TSK remake

The correct answer.. (as far as i know, it's an official answer from an interview with the admin of the german forum and ine of the developers): the warrior were planned to be different, but because of financial and time problems, they let both units in the game with the same attack/defence and the warrior staid unfinished... (That's why you normaly never find a warrior on the side of the Ai in tpr :p )

However that's not an argument tk not implement balistas and catapults though, only because they were too strong in tpr

I guess we should stay at the KaM Memes topic. Kamykos maybe you can make a meme about the current overpowered catapults? Sth like that, but in one picture (I´m too lazy to make screens from catapults in tpr ):

Guys, ballists is rather useless in 60 pt. You need wood, you need iron. Instead of 30 swordsmen you will collect 18 ballists. They are powerful, ye, but you need something to defend them, and enemy's ranged/horses can rape them easy. Also, they are very slow, and if you want to attack, you should keep your soldiers near ballists, and move slow too.
You can use it only if you desided to defend hard your bace. But dont forget about ranged

Well if we are talking about siege machines, I dont think they are overpowered at all . They are slow, expensive and have very low protection as Vovets mentioned. I agree with TDL that we need them . But this is a discussion for other topic .
