Hi, I create this topic to post news about the Remake's youtube channel which you can find here :

Why now ? After a long period with no time available for the channel on my side, I feel it is the right time to reboot it.

After trying to cooperate with some people and none of them actually did something, just vague promises, I found one courageous soul to help me maintain the channel alive !
Dicsoupcan just did a new video for the remake's channel, it of course doesn't mean he'll abandon his own, far from it ! But he'll help me bring some activity to the channel.

This is hopefully a new start for the channel, even though it lacks multiplayer action (especially commented), but anyway Dicsoupcan was kind enough to accept doing occasional videos there, it'll prevent it from dying when I have no time. Whenever I have more time I'll post new videos too and this topic will be a place to announce any new content.

Hm. I might've been one of those "vague promises" guys unfortunately. I'll make a next promise right now then let's see if I can fulfill it. I have an idea for a video (new maps showcase), if I won't make a video in a week anybody else is free to use that idea. If it's too long I might even make a couple of videos with new maps included (or not) in the Remake. Meanwhile... it might help if people started posting some ideas on what videos could be made for this channel - somebody will be able to pick an item off the list then make a video from it.

As for the multiplayer action. I could easily start uploading my shoutcasts there from now on (I can easily abandon my chan) but will the others happily do that as well? I don't want to be singled out on the official channel like my shoutcasts were more important than the others or something.

Yes we certainly don't want someone's shoutcast to look more "official" that'd be silly.
Problem is, I once asked one of the other shoutcasters for possible commentary video, the message was sent and read :

I still wait for the answer, one of the many disillusions.

If you're the only one coming for the commentating adventure we won't use the "shoutcast" title and all, and you won't have to prioritize it over the shoutcasts, so we'll wait a bit for the reactions to see what to do !

For the shoutcasts I think only Ben has to contact you, because sado already answered and To never made a shoutcast again?
I have an idea what I saw on dicsoupcan's channel about 2 videos: Basic building and Town eficiency tutorial, I think it would be nice to remake those videos or take them from dicso's channel(if he agrees with that ofc) because they were very good video's for ever player to see. Is that a good idea?

well i actualty was planning to showcase new maps too on the official channel. the problem is the double work becaue i also showcase new maps which use special scripts on my channel(i was planning on showcasing furious warriors). So i was thinking of making a short summary video for the kameremake channel and showcase new non scripted maps on top of that, so i can still do whatever i am doing on my channel. as for the voiced shoutcasts i agree with shadaoe to not have one person be more special then the other shoutcasters, but what we might be able to do is promote the shoutcasts a bit using an annotation which links towards the shoutcast video.

But for now i need to keep a promise to anti, and that is making a strategy guide for kam.net. i was doing it when my pc crashed and i lost the entire document, so i'll need to restart that project again.

I like the idea of the shoutcasts, but, I think that 90% of the subscribers are normal players, (like; x2 x2,5 80pt) they don't often like games of 60pt x1 x1.

Anyway, it is good to do, maby can the viewers than learn of that and want also play like a 'pro.'

there are plenty of players who like to see 60 pt games, and the x1 x1 does not matter since you always show it faster in replays.

Disco, that's right , but because they play with random settings is it for they hard to learn.
But that's a other topic

Anyhow, I say yes to that idea!
