Hey.

I heard many different stories from other, best players ever (DISCOUPCAN), that 175 bowmen in 75 mins is very easily doable.
Please see this post:
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2410

And DISCOUPCAN said:

"well i once made 175 bowmen in 75 pt so i guess if i kepe doing that i will have like 250~275 or more in 90 pt. it was a torllgame."

Firstly my heart has stopped and I felt seasick, then I was screaming "OMG, That is truly awesome!" I was feeling like living in two parallel real worlds, after that.

I have a request to the beast of the best, called DISCOUPCAN: can you prepare a tutorial for that, PLEASEEEE?

Additionally, once his best KAM community friend, called Tiank tried to do that, but he failed. In act of his frustration, he said that will show everybody, how to do that, but these times have not come yet.

Kind regards,
175

my bet is that it is simcity again, but yeah that video was on 80 pt, i cannot possibly renember such small details over such a long time. very well, i shall shake off the rust and squeeze as many bowmen as possible out of a city within 75 minutes.

Here's my first try to do 175, that was on 2x speed, I got pretty close, 148 leather jackets, 152 bows and 132 recruits. I would probably try to do that on 1x speed during the weekend if I have time.

By the way, an Armory Workshop at most makes 1,5 Leather Armors per minute, while a Weapons Workshop at most makes 1,72 Bows per minute.

This means that, in order to recruit 175 Bowmen in 75 minutes, you will need at least:
if working at full capacity from minute 0,
1,36 Weapons Workshops
1,56 Armory Workshop

if working at full capacity and only from minute 30,
2,27 Weapons Workshops
2,59 Armory Workshop

if working at full capacity and only from minute 40,
2,91 Weapons Workshops
3,33 Armory Workshop

if working at full capacity and only from minute 50,
4,08 Weapons Workshops
4,67 Armory Workshop

Also, each Weapons Workshop, in order to work at full capacity, requires at least 1,03 Sawmills and 2,15 Woodcutters,
while each Armory Workshop, in order to work at full capacity, requires at least 0,54 Tanneries, 1,58 Swine Farms and 2,59 Farms.

I hope that this helps.

Yeah, I know I missed that 0.36 weapon workshop and 0.56 armory workshop ;).

But seriously, yeah, that should help.

I think it would be a better proof if you could do this without the Market... :P

Anyway, let's see... if you're focusing on just the Bowmen, then you're likely not making anything else, so the most likely thing to sell (excluding starting wares) would be Sausages.

With the 1,58 Swine Farms needed for 1 Armory Workshop you can sustain 0,5 Butcher's.
Each Butcher's makes 4,5 sausages per minute, which equals 1,13 Leather Armors or Bows per minute if you buy them directly.

Also, each Butcher's can keep up to 121,5 units alive and fed (not fully sure about this one).

What would you eat then, if you trade sausages? You would need to make additional Mills and Vine Farms, which takes time and wood.

I would trade iron ores.

Each Iron Mine produces at most 1,37 Iron Ore per minute.

If you have good sausage production (4/5 pig farms no stable), sausage to iron bars or tree trunks is a very good trade.

Also, Dicsoupcan is not the best player ever. Not by long shot.

(no offence Disco. I love you <3  )

Best trade would be to sell sausages for corn. Infinite sausage/leather production.

Gotta agree that I don't get why people play standard on 90 min pt.
I personally don't enjoy Sim City Defence. (anyone got the joke)

ben is right tiank, with that many swinefarms you overproduce sausages by a lot, i just make one wineyard as supportive food and trade the rest for jackets because i will get enough bows through normal production. the only thing i need to figure out is if i need a 3rd goldsmelter and when i need to start recruiting because i think instead of recruiting using 2 school 17 minutes before pt you need to either start 20 minutes before pt and abuse the starvation period for the recruits (once recruited they have a good condition again anyway) or start 17 minutes before pt using 3 schools and a large stack of gold.

Ben i know there are better players on ts available, but i am probably one of the better known ones since revo left. i might get on their level if i actually prebuild my locs like they do instead of handicapping myself by playing with improvising or from memory. would be a nice thing to try once my addiction for civilization 5 and beyond earth passes away again, although prebuilding still feels cheap to me.

...wait a second? LONG SHOT? HOW DARE YOU , i can keep up with them at a certain level  ( i know you mean no offense, it's true )
