Free build

Hey everyone. Is there a map out there where I can just build (all buildings) without anyone attacking me? I really like mission 11 on TSK but I don't want to get attacked, so I can just build and build.

Can anyone help me please.

You could make one easily
Remove all other players and all goals and it'll work, right?

Sort of, you'll need to have a goal, or the mission instantly finishes... But you could set a goal that if you die, you win... that way you don't need to add any other player and you can build whatever you like. (you probably won't finish the mission, but that's not an issue here, right?)

I've never edited before with KaM, which program is best to use to achieve that?

And yes, I just want to build and build on a map with plenty of resources - I don't care about the win/lose side of it.

Also thank you for your quick replies.

Lewin's mission editor
It has a good help file with it as well

In fact I've always wanted to play like that but was too lazy to make the mission, oh well, I'll go make one. I'll let you know how that goes.

edit: so yea my KaM is broken. Quite badly, it crashed after 5 minutes in the game or so. And not because I changed the mission..

@Harold: We should add "Sandbox" mode into TKE and Remake

i used to play tsk demo and would build for hours since the enemy only attacks when provoked, normally i'd let it run overnight and magically everyone would be dead, or most everyone.

sandboxing is fun, but you need an objective or your just building for nothing. maybe goals for gathering a certain amount of item. the sandbox games normally require a lot of balancing, right?

I guess TSK/TPR tutorial mission is an axample of good KaM sandboxing - you keep on building as much as you like and you can attack enemies whenever you like - they won't retailate whatsoever :)
Just needs more resources and all buildings allowed to be built. There can be a results screen showed when player decides to leave the map - to show how many goods his village has produced and etc.. - similar to TransportTycoonDeluxe btw

I once made map 002 totally built in (meaning the available areas of course). How I regret not keeping that save! :( Otherwise, it's not so impossible... Whose time is enough can try loading these games into KaM.

But generally, binding my town to the enemy's after defeating him is one of my most familiar gamestyle. I also like settling new buildings to the ruins, strictly keeping the type of originally placed buildings.

lawl ?

With Lewin's mission editor, for example - IMO that's the most user-friendly way

Hi, not sure if this belongs here but I didn't know where to put it.

I was wondering if, now that time has moved on since the original post, anyone knows of and free build type maps?

I tried changing multiplayer to single player and other things mentioned here but I didn't have a clue what I was doing.

If no free build type map exists then could anyone recommend a next step to me? I just really want a map where I can build with all the resources and not have to fight the computer.
