Just the other moment I saw someone with MY nickname in a lobby.

I told him to fuck off and told him he'd better have a good explanation.
He told me he used the nickname for a long time and in other games.
I told him to be honest and change his nickname or to get out and play another game.
He left.

While typing the above I thought it would be better to check again, I used a different nickname and used the French flag, he was still there.
He asked if I checked out "HIS" tournament. He also said the following: "You better stay the fuck out cause I don't want you French guys joining."
Told him: "You can go fuck yourself, I am GreatWhiteBear and none else is. You get out and stay out."
He left again.

I will be watching the MP rooms for sometime, I don't want anybody to think that I am him.

To all you French people: Come play my tournament if you want. NONE will be rejected.

Ok, it seems like he stopped.
I asked around a bit but he didn't join any other room.

I imagine that happened because your competition was mentioned in the announcements section. Not much we can do about it unfortunately. Just present yourself as a nice, mature person and they will know when it's you and not some immature idiot. To be honest I'm amazed nobody has used my or Krom's nickname yet. (I haven't heard of it happening anyway)

but what about situations when player did not know, that another user have already used his nikname?

Listen up, the chance of someone using my EXACT nickname is very small.
He used GreatWhiteBear. I picked my nickname after the Dutch name of one of my teddybears, it is a big white bear, if you translate big to Dutch and back you can get the word great because the Dutch word can mean both.
The chance of someone coming up with a name like that is very unlikely, a GreatWhiteBear, come on, who thinks of something like that (some one with a polar bear).

If someone calls himself siegfried but another player is called siegfried it is understandable because siegfried is a name.

@Lewin, I dare bet he used your names already, but it was just too obvious that he wasn't you.

Could you use normal language in your topic start next time? This way you sound like you're the maniac, not him.

I try to relax - and hope that the guy who uses to call himself "Siegfried", too, will come here so we can settle this.

The way to solve this and add more... is to join the Multiplayer Lobby with a "Player Account".

Then for FUTURE: When Community growths, a global Ranking based on Scores obtained from each Match (Experience Level).
Still I would make 3 separete Rankings: Construction, Battle, Cooperative (because of different modalities).

Registered can have a symbol, like a "Grade" based in Ranking Position: Can be from "Recruit to Knight" (10 levels)
Unregistered wont have this symbol, since they join directly just to play... without interest in the Rankings.

I'd say recruit to emperor
it would be like this:
10th: Knight
11th: (Land) Lord.
12th: Governor or Ruler
13th: King
14th: Emperor
