I like the idea... But the incarnation is really bad

-terrain... there are not smooth tile-to-tile transitions
-mountains
-the whole map must be more elevated

You can make the maps better I think

Use Krom's editor to create maps, it's better than the built-in editor.

I can't download it yet as I'm still at work, but judging the screen shot, this map seems to be broken. For example the players on the bottom side have no access to stone.

Also, the map looks very angular and has only little height differences and no smooth edges (for example the coal). The bridges to the middle seem to be misplaced as some of them are a dead end.
