Survival Style: discussion & map collection
Hey Community!
Several Months ago I joined a map with and by a player named EMPIRE-commander. It was an empty map with only one big road you could use. The rest to work with was in the storehouse and that was literally almost nothing. Well, so going for growing ressources and marketplace was the deal. Also holding the population low got a point. I got close to the idea of working with low material income and the forced Marketplace use. Also following the units and counting the food felt very nice. Also i want to mention the changed focus on growing ressources.
I imagined this in an arranged map to complete the RPG feeling, so I tried it and recieved very positive resonance by testers and spectators.
Thats why i decided to give this a startup, a shape, a name and a platform. Collecting maps will hopefully also be an usage of this topic.
The content is below. Just one more thing: Don't take everything as too fix. This is also a discussion topic. Mention anything.

Survival Style
Definition:
- Marketplace has to play a big role from the beginning.
- Fish, Trees, Coalfields, Stonehills, Iron and Gold may exist only in an amount that gives little pushes.
- Starting Materials must be very limited. This also means gold and food.
- Some Materials to trade should be in the storehouse
- The map really should be somehow catchy
- Players shall be able to make tactical decisions
- No dynamic scripts (should it be kept like that?)
Examples:
This is an starting situation on "Bloodline"
Gamespeed/Peacetime:
Things happen slowly, so the playflow on speed 2x at peacetime feels "normal". Map-specific recommendations for peacetime are good since the situation can vary alot. But in case you feel weak just try out to build up, and see until when you want to be secured.
