Hmm... I wanted to test it in original KaM, but when you kill your own soldiers when attacking buildings, they don't count as kills, only as deaths. And since you can't see the opponent's score, it is impossible to see who killed who.
I agree it wouldn't make sense to have friendly fire only when attacking buildings, but on the other hand... there are huge differences. If you attack a building, you will lose a melee unit every few seconds. But if we face a huge army and we have TONS of archers, we can win without losing ANY soldiers at all. That would imply there is no friendly fire in battles.
Don't get me wrong, now I think of it, I like the idea of friendly fire because it makes archers a little less powerful. I was just wondering.
