I am fine with default red. But we can make a poll to be sure it's most wanted colour.
Anyway noone even started develop this, but we talked and argued a lot about it already
We have a proverb in Russia: 'to divide an not killed bear' (my very rough and straightforward translation, hope you understand it's bottom line anyway).

Right, almost a classic case of "bike-shedding" (what color do we paint it
), but ..
I'm on this topic because once it's implemented (which it is very likely to be, cos the feature is very handy and simple), then it becomes a settled case and default preset is unlikely to be changed. So better make it right (and configurable) from the start =)

I've just added this feature, new button is placed close to minimap.
Some icon is needed for that button though.
Any ideas, may be smth similar to same feature from other games?
Could be usefull to have similar feature for ingame colors (flags, units/houses skins etc).

Typically this option would be in the settings menu. I think we still have room in the settings UI for this option to be placed there. Just make it a checkbox
like fast scrolling, music on, etc.

Its a good solution with combination of new hotkey to get fast access to switch color mode.
Implemented in that way.
