You honestly don't need to use watchtowers, you can just line up your group of 12 axemen with your bowman right behind them face northwest. Have your other axemen a little north facing southwest and when your almost out of axemen in the first group, have the other group charge in.

I think you can defeat the attacks easily
You played mission 3 and 6 before so you can do it

Just place the axe fighter groups near each other and face north
the bowmans stand right behind

Build 1 guard tower on the left of the bowmans for more survivals

If the enemy comes and hit the axe fighters, right click on the enemy to make your bowmans shoot fast

Then just do it and you won with 15 bowmans and about 4 axefighters survive:D
