- What do you think about building a place in the tree (building removes tree), or any other easy way to grubbing up trees?
This has already been declined. Just use the vineyard trick ;)
Yes, but you will lose time and board.
- What about the removal of road?
Also declined. It's mostly pointless anyway. Why do you need it?
To make field or vineyard or to recover the stone (is it possible?)

ps is it possible to recover materials from the demolition of buildings?

It is not possible to recover materials after they are used in construction. This is can be good; though, as it forces the player to put more consideration into planning. I can also almost guarantee that the Remake will never support material recovery from destroyed buildings/road removal, etc.

- When we attack an enemy building and will be damaged by 50%, the production of this building is stopped (something like shut the door)
- When the building is damaged in 90% and on fire, it is automatically destroyed in the near future if we do not fix it

I always found it was unnatural that when e.g. the Bakery is severely damaged, the Baker inside just keeps on working like nothing's happening.

What do others think?

Hm. If we want to stay natural, then yes. Adding that if the house is on fire it should lose hitpoints continuously (if it was natural). BUT if for example it's a tower, you only have to damage it a bit to actually take it out. And it can't be that hard to kill some builders, huh (well, it is against pro players :D)?

Well th fire is just an indication of building damage, like red alert has it's cracks in the roof and walls and stuff. And tbh it is also unnatural the fire get's extuinghised by builders using hammers instead of people using water.

Might be an idea that the worker stops as long as the building is under attack ?

Starcraft / Terran, when a building is hit under 20% it slowly loses HP~ But if the idea is to improve realism into the game the building shouldn't get on fire when a simple arrow hits it. Maybe something like in 'setlers 6', some (or all i don't really remember it) of your soldiers carry a torch to burn the building. But that would imply that normal soldiers can't attack buildings anymore~

I like the idea of buildings stopping working when too damaged... what about setting the game to kick the worker out of the building if it's too damaged?
("work? I won't even ENTER that ruin until it's repaired...")

As for fire on buildings... making them crack and break would be more realistic but would also be a lot of work on the sprites...
Yet, it would be great if we could have both things: melee breaks buildings (high "cracking damage"), ranged sets them on fire (very low "cracking damage"+low "fire damage" if arrows keep being fired, very low continuous "fire damage" if arrows stop being fired but the fire is not set out - or isn't extinguished naturally; maybe make it so that only the percentage of the building's HP built using wood can be burned down?)

i dislike the idea, my point was that the fire only shows the enemy player how damaged a building is, what may result in a different targeting priority just like it does in red alert. otherwise you can shoot 1 arrow, stay there with ranged and kill all incoming builders while the building burns down and becomes unused.

@dicsoupcan, i meant to let the bruning lose HP when it's under 20% health.. or make it lose health on a very very low rate. like 900 per hour (1 every 4 seconds).
