Good work - the city planner is very useful.
But I found a strange bug when I was using the "Elevate peak" function. The cursor just skipped some places. I can only point at places with Y=0 and odd numbers.
In 0.4b version it was OK.
(sorry - I can't show screenshots - I had problems with registration and i'm not allowed to post links as a guest - i'll send them when it's possible)

KaM Editor version 0.5d is available with another couple of bugs fixed.
There's new feature that shows water flow direction (menu Advanced>ShowFlow).

Water flow!? interesting! Does it looks exactly the same as in the original KaM or do you have made your own look-alike version? Would you mind sharing how you made it?

You misunderstand. It simply puts arrows over each water tile, they do not animate.
@Krom: What bugs were fixed? Was it the bottom of the map render error I talked to you about?
Lewin.

I have an idea about water flow, but it's really straight-stupid - make a hundred of screenshots and capture all tiles in all animation steps, then make special animation tile-sets.
In case with TKE it could be done simplier with pallete color cycling done in pixel-shader. You just have to figure out pallete cycling.
True solution would be to decode KaM tilesets, but that looks impossible
For now I did put arrows above water tiles, does the job quite sufficient for map editor.
@Lewin: No, that bug isn't fixed yet. There were few range check errors I fixed thanks to Angel_Phiona from KaM.de.

Colour cycling has long been there.. but I can't get the colours right..
What I have been able to figure out, is that it isn't just a block the palette rotating through itself, as I've tried all conceivable combinations of the kind. So it's something complex.. and thus annoying.. and I'll have yet an other look at that ridiculous extra data that is appended to palette data in de bbm files..

ACDSee could open text.dat (iff) tilesets and export them to tga, but animation is just isn't there. I tried to find iff>gif converter but no luck
@Harold: Please send me a PM with info you know about text.dat files, maybe I will be able to use it and move deciphering a bit further. Info at Litudes site is incorrect.
EDIT: There seems to be number of ILBM (iff) format descriptions in web, but I couldn't find any converters yet.

Actually I don't know anything about them, I always just decoded them "with my eyes closed"
I had a look at the additional data a couple of times with absolutely no results whatsoever.. sorry

Another step to bugfree editor has been made. Now you can download v0.5f from my site. Fixed a bug in script loading which limited number of parsed script commands to "only" 2000. Script loading speed is improved several times now aswell

I see major improvements!
But also a strange bug...
http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/3281/errorio1.jpg
This occurs when I try to save a map.
In the right bottom of my screen, I see also an error which says that the file is damaged.
I'm not completely sure if this has anything to do with your editor, because I had the same when I saved a script (just one, not all) with Harold's ScriptEditor (the file was damaged also, but there was an other error).
I think that it is just my computer. It won't take long untill I declare it dead.
