You probably mean Windows XP. Well it doesn't directly include but apparently it is freely downloadable and works slightly differently than the usual virtualization tools but hopefully it should make our life easier.

I did read somewhere that it would include an XP virtualization mode thingy though, but as far as I know it hasn't been tested yet
Would be nice if it'd work that's for sure.
but yea, W7 containing a virtualized W7?

I think not. (would the virtual W7 then also have a virtual W7 inside it, ad infinitum?)

well, that xp-vmlike-thingy was going to be included in the RC of win7?
and the RC would be available for MSDN members by the 30th April? If so, I'm gonna try it out.
EDIT: Here, the tweakers message (dutch)
http://tweakers.net/nieuws/59809/windows-7-krijgt-gevirtualiseerde-xp-modus.html
yay! now I'm really wanting to get it.

It already leaked to bittorrent, so what are you waiting for?
or better wait, remember the WMP cutting MP3s bug?
I wonder how this XP emulation would work on my PC, where scrolling websites with aero enabled is laggy

(Sorry if this quoestion's answer is somewhere in the VirtualBox manual but I'm little bit busy now, and I don't want to download just to check cause my slow broadband, so:)
Is it possible to install Virtual Machine (for example using VirtualBox) from real, existing Windows Xp CD?
Or is it possible to make image file from (aww, I don't remember the right word for the copying protection) Windows Xp CD that is protected from copying the data?
E: Well, my Xp CD is copy protected because this is some kind of laptop (but works fine at normal computer too) version, the only thing (what I've spotted) is that Windows is "already activated" when you finish installing it.

You can both install XP from CD or ISO image on VirtualBox.
Also XP CD is not copy-protected AFAIK.

Hey friends, I also want to play K&M and I also have Vista. It is really laggy to play, definitely, so I got VMWare player and Windows XP SP3 for it. It works quite well and I installed K&M, but when I launch it, my mouse runs wild and becomes hyper sensitive and it is impossible to play the game this way. But graphics and sound and etc work quite good.
Has anyone encountered such stuff?

Yeah the easiest way of fixing it is to open your setup.cfg and change mouse sensitivity to 0. The other way of fixing it is to disable the possibility of dragging files from VMWare to your actual OS.
