@TDL: Please don't spoil the fun of this game. We are supposed to make a choice and explain it.

@Thunder: Let it be Raquel, because it sounds more like Rachel (from Friends) :)

A boat, cos you can immediately see everyone in it.

Microwave Oven or a traditional oven?

Snap! TDL being moderated. It's already a good day (6)

I'm going with a traditional (convection, probably?) oven. You can do everything and more in an oven, even if it takes more time. Also, the food quality will be much better. For example, reheating pizza in the oven makes the pizza taste like it did the hour it was made. Microwaves make it soggy and bland.

Globe or (global)map?

A game can only be fun when people play it. So Krom, you should be thankful for me keeping it alive. ;) (I had no idea who or what Raquel and Ruth are)

At fist I thought globe! But I like maps too. I still choose globe though, but only if it's a nice old wooden one, not an ugly plastic globe. :)

Your preferred chess opening: e4 or d4?

e4! As long as we don't end up in the -oh-god-I-hate-it-so-much Giuoco Piano opening.

TDL:

There was a telenovel some decades ago. I recommend it for watching. A bit longer than Dallas. Takes weeks to watch it continously:D I even not remember what about the story, but they were sisters- a good and bad syndrome ;)

Ben:
Tile flooring or hardwood flooring?
Hardwood flooring becuase has more natural. Shorter lifetime, noisies after sevel decades and flamable. But looks and gives warmer feeling. Each one has pro and cons-Have you got price also per squaremeter? :P

And reaction on the chess question:
e6 or c5? (French or Sicilian defence?)

PS: I had some chess parties in letter form, it is start to be very similar.:D

@TDL: Just as you should be thankful for me kick-starting it ;-)

@Ontopic: not a chess fan, so I pick country I heard of more - E6, French defense :)

Totally different association - E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) or C4 (common variety of the plastic explosive) ?

C4, it's vastly more useful.

Actually, these days I like to respond with e7. :)

Steam. Have only used it for 3 months so far but I've come to like it (I've used it in the past too but that's many years ago). I have no experience with GOG.

Beach holiday or skiing/snowboarding?

Beach holiday because I love the beach and I never have been skiing or snowboarding yet. I have been jet-skiing and love water-boarding but that is probably not the question

Choose from 3, game this time :P

Enhanced vision, enhanced hearing or enhanced smell/taste?

Hard to say, because I think none of these would be too useful for humans. I pick vision because it's the least likely to mess up with my brain too much (hopefully)

You're at home and cold, watching TV. Do you put on a sweater or grab a blanket?

Sweater.
But better to turn on the fire;)
Left or Right?

Re: Choose from 2, game

Left.

Right is a horrible word in English. Right can mean (among many other definitions) both "The relative direction, right" and "correct." This means that it can be very confusing when giving directions in English. For example:
Driver of car: "Do I turn left here?"
Passenger: "Right."
(The passenger meant that the driver was correct, but the driver misunderstood him and turned right instead.)

It's for this reason that I tend to not use the word right as a response to a question, but rather use correct.
