Given that the next release is pretty soon I don't think it's worth creating a new patch just to fix that. For now you can use the old sound system, by placing the voice files in "data\sfx\speech.<LOCALE>\" (where <LOCALE> is your 3 letter language code, like eng or ger) and make the files all .WAV. (but the same folder structure as KaM for each warrior)
This is only if you really want sounds in r2087, the next demo will have a fully working voice system with the voices distributed in the download.

ZOLTAN and I were just discussing using a different map today, and we decided on "Land of Hills", the multiplayer map from KaM. I've removed the starting troops and put it in the the Remake map structure, so please download this file and extract it to your "Maps\" folder. Here's the link:

The first match is full ... 6 players joined within 3 minutes.

Guys, I REALLY enjoyed this game today. I can't wait to have a 8 man match in the near future.

@Pictures and xzaz: I hope you had a nice game too, sorry we couldn't fit you. I'll try to sort out an 8 player map but it's tricky because KaM doesn't have any... The resources need to be well balanced in 8 places. The best idea might be to put two players very close in a place with resources, as none of the maps really have space for 8 places with resources.
Ideas would be welcomed! (or if someone who knows how to use my mission editor wants to do it that would be great, but please let me know)

I think some kind of chat system is a great idea, but I don't know much about teamspeak or IRC. If someone can knows more about it and can set it up or tell me how to I'd be grateful

Well, while it's early in the morning @ your place we are going into the night. I clicked accidentally "Disconnect" while waiting for Pictures... that button really needs to move . So we will play a game tomorrow (today for you)

I will check if i can fix a free Teamspeak server somewhere (or a channel). Or even better, can you embed it into KaM Remake?

Lewin, do you have any clue why the Disconnects occurring?

Teamspeak would be a great thing because we could actually talk ingame - which of course means that everybody needs a headset or a microphone.

But I never used it - is it a big deal to install and configure this? And, more important since my internet connection is not the best one: how much bandwith does it need?
