I have a small idea, small improvement if possible.
It's about closed doors in buildings...
A slightly different meaning to the button.

"Open/Close Building" feature: When closed, it won't receive worker or resources (still will work if has a worker with remaining raw materials or recollecting till full store, e.g. woodcutter).

What am I trying to suggest? That a closed building won't receive the worker either, so in case of recruits, they will walk towards Barracks instead of empty towers. It hurts so much to delete a far away tower just because recruits want to occupy it.

Besides... What if you have Iron/Gold/Coal mines and you want miners to ocuppy certain first? Close those mines with less priority.

This feature will also be "ON" in buildings like quarry/woodcutters (beyond the fact that they dont need raw materials, but for choosing which building should be ocuppied first, so we aren't victims of randomness).

Hmm... and I hope this helps to not have the "empty building reminder spam", for instance if I build "closed" swines right after my first farms. I can wait till the moment I have grown crops... to open my swines and let animal breeder to enter.

For this last improvement, "closed building" should also make the reminder to ignore this building.
[!Closed=Ignore= 0~] (H)

Interesting idea Jeronimo, I've added it to our proposals list :)

This is sort of me just being picky, but will there be a chance that the American flag will be added to online gameplay? Or is it rather a symbol of what language you speak, rather than where you're from?

I like Jero's idea too, I've been trying to come up with some cons but I wasn't really able to think of any so that must mean it's a good idea. :P

It is a symbol of your language (so you know whether that person will be able to talk to you) not your country, but the problem is that languages don't have flags, only countries do... so we had to use those. It's all very well for countries like Russia, Germany, Poland, etc. but Australia, America, Argentina, etc. get annoyed because their language is different to their flag.

A lot of people have requested putting all the flags and making the flag selection separate to the language selection. We haven't decided what to do about this yet, the original aim was just to show what language people speak, and adding hundreds of flags means you will be less likely to know what language is associated with which flag (does anybody even know what the Australian flag looks like? Would you immediately assume "oh he'll be able to speak English" when you see it?)

Please feel free to discuss it.

Yeah I figured. Definitely makes more sense to have a flag representing a broad amount of countries, specifically that speak the same language. What I had in mind was more of a representation type of thing. Doesn't matter to me though.

The problem is, when I see British flag I expect the player to write English fluently. What I see instead is 90% of these players being from other countries, usually not knowing English much... So, I'm totally for splitting game language and nationality, giving access to all (or a reasonable number of) available nationalities, even those that Remake isn't translated to.

And yes, I know how Australian flag looks like :) And for flags that I do not know, how about showing nationality name when hovering the cursor over the flag?

Proposal 1:
In Editor KAM:
I would like to be able to lock people in school. (eg, peasants, recruits, etc.), which can not be recruited during the game. Of course.
I have some plans for maps **

Proposal 2:
In Editor KAM/Lobby:
When creating maps for the players (multiplayer map). When selecting players, and "put" them on the map. Now there are 8 players = 8 sites. In Editor Given the opportunity to set additional players ( ex.12 - 14 ?) [= locations in lobby]. In the lobby, players were able to choose from such as 12th/14th location that was available to play by 8th (Of course, it would require the creation of such maps to be able to introduce)

What does this give us?

A lot of settings for players on one map. This will ensure that the map will be more attractive.

and

When the maps are as large as 256x256 no problem set 12-14 on a map where the location possible to play

:) :) :)

Adding more flags will not solve the issue you are writing about even for a bit.

Once again: Flag represents language that player has chosen in Options menu for user interface. This means if you see Eng flag you are talking with player who has Eng user interface and is expected to read/write/understand Eng. He can live in any place in the world, locale selection has nothing to do with geography.

I disagree. If i will know, that isn Great Britain or American guy, i wont try advanced conversation and wasting my time, (cause he just set english interface and dont understand me) but will try using simpler words to comunication.

So i very like sado1 proposition with spliting country and language.

I'm from Russia, using English UI, how is that affecting my English spelling?
Lewin is from Australia, if he choses Australian flag, how would you guess his spelling skills from that?
Besides, then we would need to add age info - many KaM players are quite young, they don't know what "juxtapose" or "vibrissae" means. I hope you don't plan to use Shakespeare's vocabulary when you see true Brit? ;)

Long story short: If certain player feels good with English UI, that means he knows English good enough to keep a conversation. If he knows Portuguese better he will choose Portuguese locale. Adding more flags does not solves this imaginary problem.

You don't get it. If someone doesn't understand ANY of the languages here, but understands one of them to the point of being able to play the game (and 99% of cases, it will be English) but not to the point of being able to talk at chat, his choice is obvious... see what I mean? :) Of course it will not solve the problem (the ultimate solution would be to teach these people English :D), but it will distinct English players from non-English ones. Also I agree with:
If i will know, that isn Great Britain or American guy, i wont try advanced conversation and wasting my time, (cause he just set english interface and dont understand me) but will try using simpler words to comunication.
Another thing, I guess these people would prefer to have their own flags even if Remake wasn't translated yet to their language.

edit - didn't see the new post from Krom:

If you tried to humiliate me, well done. I have no ******* idea what these words mean :) And I'm 20. And I don't expect to learn these words ever (unless I Google them in a while), so I'm not really convinced on your age point :D

I was just adding animals to Paradise Island and it occured to me that we don't have any animals for snowy areas. If I'm correct wolves can only walk on grass and dirt. But what about tundra wolves? I'm sure someone can paint the current wolf white and we'd have a new animal in a simple way (that is, it sounds easy to me, I'm not really sure how easy it really is).
