I prefer pork chops for frying but never mind, just don't let them bastards fry you for dinner in their iron helmets!

Do you realize that I'm back after a pretty long time, thus being forced to mainly meet pretty old topics?

And do you realize it's no use posting in those topics?

Disagreed. If nothing else, I retain my international constitutional right of greeting people regardless the chance whether they greet me back. If you say opening topics like this separately for everyone is useless, than you have the point. In these cases I'm used to merge topics on the forums I administer.

Let's see how many people agree with you.
As a forum admin, you should know how undesirable it is to kick very old topics. Of course it's your right to do so, but we do not appreciate it.
Also, you're welcome to do anything you like on the forums you administer. However, we may do things a bit different here

Interesting. Although it is weird to bring old topics back to life, I personally don't see anything wrong with it. I also don't think it is an important enough matter to risk insulting or hurting someone.
One word posts or other pointless posts are far more annoying in my opinion (of course sometimes these are appropriate, but mostly they are not).
EDIT:
I think I understand what you mean, now. Some topics (Like favorite food or forum games) are not an issue to kick in my opinion, but when someone asks a question and the answer takes a year in response....well
