is their skirmish play ie so u can play against just the computer ai ???

Not really. However, there are single maps that you can play. Krom is working on an AI that will enable a dynamic singleplayer experience. That won't be for a while; though, so you'll have to stick around and wait

Or just go and play TPR's skirmishes... That's a choice too.

Bugs times infinity if you ask me. I played it again not to long ago...
TPR vs KMR, well I think the Remake is a 100 times better than TPR.
