Show amount of products produced by building

Hello,

I don't know if this is suggested already:

when you click on a building "f.e. woodcutter, let it show how many woodlogs it produced during the game?
Maybe add the option to disable this feature or enable.
It is a very little detail, but maybe some people can be interested in it for the statistics?

This has already been recommended before. I don't remember if Krom and Lewin accepted it, but a similar idea (showing the efficiency of a building and total produced wares) was declined.

Yeah the guys weren't in favor of it :(

The discussion begins here, scroll down a bit and you can see what everyone said :)

I have returned, with yet another suggestion! =) I seem to be making suggestions on a near daily basis now. Sorry! :)

What would you think about in-game statistics?
What I mean is: each building you click shows how much products it has received and what it has created over the course of the game.

Example for the Butcher:

Example for the leather armor maker:

Reason: It helps you to keep track of how efficent your buildings have been. In the picture's case, I have two butchers. By those statistics, I could find out in the glimpse of an eye if the second butcher was unnecesary, or maybe they have both been performing a big amount of work and maybe I should consider constructing a third. I think it could be helpful to both new and experienced players, though admittedly to a lesser extent for the latter. So, whaddaya guys think? :)

I think this kind of stats is useless. How exactly this is going to improve the gameplay experience?

It doesn't really, but then again, how does the text description of what a serf or builder is doing (Delivering wares, Waiting for stone, ...) improve the gameplay experience? :P I believe it's the same sort of thing, a bit of an extra touch that adds more detail to the game without being too important, yet still fun/interesting to check for from time to time.

Anyway, I completely respect your stance on this and if it never makes it in, I'm cool with that. I'm just glad that somebody else also suggested this too, so now I know I'm not alone :P

Sorry KRISDW I should've used the search option first. Cool that you suggested this aswell. I understand it has no use for the game

ps where you from? I'm from Leuven (H)

Units descriptions are great for beginners (remember, not everyone plays KaM for years), so they know who these units are. Action description tells player what unit is doing, is it standing idle or waits for something, where is it going.

Not to mention, knowing what a laborer (and sometimes even serfs) is doing can be very useful with builder micro ;)
