Hey everyone,

Just reinstalled KAM, for the 1st time in about 5yrs and I noticed the screen moving very fast when using the arrowkeys or when moving the cursor to the side of the screen.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

i don't know how to fix it.
but i find it sometimes to slow :p

KaM TPR was made for older systems that couldn't support very fast screen panning. Because of this, the game didn't actually limit the maximum speed that the screen would pan. The reason this is bothering you now and not 5 years ago is probably because you used older hardware back then There is no way to fix this, but you can work around it by tapping arrow keys or by dragging your cursor across the minimap.

The best solution is to upgrade to the Knights and Merchants Remake. The Remake is a fan-made mod that supports use on newer systems, fixes many bugs, adds new features (such as the marketplace) and supported multiplayer via the game's personal dedicated servers. I strongly recommend it. Once you try it, you'll never go back to the original game.

O RLY? I'm still playing in TPR. This version has more good campaigns and catapults.

Sorry that Idid not reply yesterday, but I couldn't get acces to the site for some weird reason.

I am running the shattered kingdom but I guess It is the same problem.

And what is the remake exactly? Just a free upgrade to TPR?

Well it is free, and it uses tpr. The game is just like kam but it plays more smooth, for example you have no dumb builders that keep building whenever a building is done, serfs walk effecient and you do not have to place roads tile by tile (you can just click and drag). It also has multiplayer suppurt and is pretty nice to play. you can download it on http://www.kamremake.com .
