You can play Knights and Merchants Remake, which can be found here:

Gameranger supports KaM so maybe you ca play on there, I've been looking for a multiplayer game as well and I think I have just the Peasants Rebellion and not* the remake.
Edit: not* the remake

Yes, I played like 2 games with Sado, via gameranger on TPR and it was quite.....funny

, to see how much the Remake improved nearly everything. So yeah, with gameranger you can make a server in tpr and play it, but I would only play tactic games like ambushed and co. unless long eco games will bring also some bugs in long games, like you can´t see your enemy attacking you and so on.

Sigh... I wish people still played the vanilla version.

I know this has been discussed before, and I've read those discussions, but I still don't really understand your point of view. Why don't you like the KaM Remake? Have you tried it? We have aimed to make it extremely faithful to the original game and only changed stuff where necessary. It's not like it's "Knights and Merchants 2" in 3D (I can definitely understand preferring original games over sequels). But KaM Remake is not a sequel. It's the same game mechanics, exactly the same graphics/sounds, same maps, etc. What don't you like?

Yes, I, along with some unmentioned others, are also very curious as to why you (MrMew) hatred of the Remake. It would be comforting for me to hear why. Maybe it would put my nosy mind at ease; I don't know.
It's like I/we want to help you, but you won't let us know the problem so we can't help you. At the same time, you keep posting here so it's like you want to be helped, but won't help us help you..!

Didn't say I hated it, just said I didn't want to get it. Also it discourages me when every person (almost every) answers a question by saying "get the remake" and I prefer non-fan made games/extensions that don't become official exactly. (No offense to the creator/s of the remake.) And yes I like ballista and catapult, and hate the idea of the market.

I'd love to play a game of KAM online with you (not remake), if it was actually possible without syncronization problems. This made it impossible to enjoy for me, it was like playing singleplayer skirmish against an inactive AI opponent when I LANd it with a friend.

It´s quite interesting, because if I have played Settlers 4 a few days in a row via Gamerranger, every day there were like 1-3 KaM Lobbies at once

Not sure if TSK or TPR but it seems that quite some people still play the original game online.
