It can't be mission 9, because you don't need any gold there - it's a fighting mission.
Personally I guess you're talking about mission 11, which is, after mission 16, the hardest mission in my campaign. Let me know which mission it is, and if you don't know, just describe it. Then I'll give you some tips.

I checked It is mission 10. sorry
And as for mission 11...not NEAR as hard as 10...in my opinion
I need help. My poor people DYING!

P.S The first time I played 11 I did pretty good. Finaly got aan army up in running. hHowever, I was talking to one of my friends over I.M and I did not know that I lost my wood cutter.... and ran out of wood. It would have been hard to win with 10 swordsmen and 12 crossbowmen so I gave up

Only concentrate at yourself. Your ally is mostaly able to handle the enemy. Because the enemy attacks quite fast, train soldiers as quickly as possible. Using the town hall could help. And build some towers (and it would be handy if you have at least all your crossbowmen left after the attack at the start).

Er... It wouldn't be hard to train another woodcutter, right? :P

Thanks I will give it another shot

Well, I ment Ilost the building that your woodcutter lives in. Without the building, I can not cut down trees.

Also, not to complain, but have you noticed that twonhall soldiers tend to react very slowly when you give them orders?
It is really annoying.

Blame the developers of the game, not of the campaign. I can't help it, although I wish I could.
