Serfs-bug?

Good day! I would like to ask you one question. Is it normal, that only six serfs are transporting stone, when I am building something, having no stone-mine and stone only in storehouse??? I can have 20 laboureurs building a way, but only six serfs transport stone to them. Where is the problem? Thanks.

Do you have any patches on your game or is it the original?

I have KAMTSK 1.31 CZ and KAMTPR 1.6 REL Beta 6. Both are original, but both have this problem, that appeared now, I played the games a long time and all was normal.I am realy surprised and embarrassed and without knowledge of the cause...

I never tried that, with so many laborers. It doesn't seem to help at all..

Well Im not sure why you are having this problem, I only use 7 laborers at a time and I never seem to have this problem.
Do you necessarily need 20 or were you just testing that many?

There's a bug in TPR/TSK, when you plan too many houses without connecting them to a road. Then serfs won't bring wood/stone to building sites.
It seems that there's a list of building sites, and it has a limited length (~8 sites?) when it's filled new sites aren't getting any attention from Serfs.
Perhaps it's the same bug you have?
If yes - try demolishing all incomplete building sites unconnected to roads.

To Krom: But this problem appears even if I build only ways, no buildings. When I e.g. build 20 sectors of way with 20 laboureurs, only six serfs transport stone from storehouse.
To Harold and BarbariansRule: I know I have not to train so many laboureurs, but I want

in order to try to build faster...

hmm, I never had that problem before, I think I'm going to look into it though, I'll see what I can find out.

And the second issue : the ways and buildings I planed often disappear. Is there any way to fix these problems???

Building plans only disappear in such rare cases where the elevation of the terrain has changed in such a way that it becomes unsuitable for placement of the building. If you're able to place the highlight again it probably means that another surrounding road construction has once again flattened the terrain enough to allow road placement.
I can't see how this occurs often though, unless you like building on very uneven terrain.

No, the disappearing of the building plans are no way related to some changes of terrain. The way plan often disappears immediately after I click or after a few seconds. I am perplexed.
BTW, what is your point of view to the first problem (if you have read the discussion above)? Thanks.

Sounds familiar to me - sometimes I would lay down a nice long road but after a while it would start to "crumble" randomly. It has nothing to do with the elevation of the tile that the plan is on (it can happen anywhere, not just next to building site), but it did seem to affect older plans earlier (though not in a strict "oldest first" manner)
