Agriculture

I am just wondering: How do you make your fields? I usually make about 21 fields for each farm (placing them to the sides and front) and I usually have all my farms together, unless I run out of room. In that case I usually set aside another area for farming.
I use about 12 sets of grapes for my vineyards, and I place them apart, since they basically just get in each others' way

I usually place my woodcutters apart from each other if i can. This helps maximize the area they can plant tress by freeing up land with less roads and buildings. If I'm playing a long mission, and I'm running low on timber, then I will destroy my woodcutter's huts and relocate them since they are quickly overwhelmed with my growing city. Hey, even an old city needs urban renewal! :D

And while we are on the subject, how much corn does it take to breed a horse? a pig? I think it's 5 but I'm not sure.

I usually make 15 to 18 fields. Same for wine. :)

I ran several tests to see how much a workload they could handle, so I just made more fields until the farmer wouldn't plant anymore. It usually was around 21. The vineyard...well Idk. 12 seems to work well. (I normally don't have too much wood by the time I plant grapes so I try to save it.)
