While I'm not new to games like KaM, I am new to KaM itself. Found the game, found the remake, here I am.

Starting the game for the first time I'm trying to do the tutorial. There are no instructions or any sort of guidance shown in the tutorial itself. Am I missing something? Is it broken? Should I just play the Tutorial on the non-remake version and come back to the remake when I'm more experienced?

Seems like its a known thing so I'll crawl back into my hole. I'm still very open to advice so feel free.

I would play the tutorial in the original game and than if you want to play the campaigns TSK and TPR you should play it up to now, on the original game, too. In the remake you can play online very well and singleplayer missions are good,too.

So the remake is meant more for multiplayer and non-campaign singleplayer then?

The Remake is not finished, it is still under development. Think of it as beta if you like.
We have recently added tutorial messages, they'll be in the next release.

Tutorial messages have been added now, but you ain't gonna see them till next release. So when that will happen? I don't know. I'm busy with TranslationManager refactoring and city-building AI. That might take a couple of weeks at least.

We need to draw a line, but that is always hard when having work in progress ..
