Come on, for the Remake a laptop is fine, since it doesn't need much of a GPU. For other games, I rarely play AAA titles nowadays, since I hate waiting 10 hours for the game to load. The last one that made me do that was probably Witcher 2, it was quite fun so it compensated the loading times. But seeing as I don't need anything except my KaM fix, I don't need a desktop anymore.

TDL: replacing fan isn't a big deal, I think there's a high chance of success. Go for it.

Why? Who uses a laptop for gaming anyway, tbh?

Well next up will be phones they are already good

They can run ps1 games and psp ones too

Edit Intels integrated gpu is enough for Kam Remake Also it runs faster on opengl than directx so no worries

Also opengl Will now lose with directx 12 CROSS GPUS 2x nividia cards + 2 amd cards = Ultra gaming pc

And Krom and Lewin haven't u thinked about adding directx render for older gpus?

You do realise that OpenGL is even older than DirectX? The big difference is with OpenGL, it supports more Operating Systems. DirectX is for Windows only and via this way Microsoft assured theirself a monopoly with the gaming developers. Greedy bastard at Micro$oft.

Well Kam Remake primary is on the Windows, most of users use it on windows.

So why don't we make a directx 9 rendermode in options only for windows.

Adding the D3D render would be a huge amount of effort for no gain.
Since KaM Remake needs only the basic rendering functionality (no shaders, no buffers trickery, no AA and no AF) it makes no difference between old or new nor D3D or OGL.
