Re: Scripting demo release candidate

Are you using both the in-game Remake editor and Krom's editor? Because if you are, there is a chance that your objects will be removed.

Re: Scripting demo release candidate

Krom's editor will remove objects that it doesn't recognize, so try not to place objects unless you are using Krom's editor when placing them (or don't use Krom's editor at all).

hi

i want to report a bug. When i use the in-game editor. I maked defence positions for the enemy and attack positions. but the army of the defence positions went to go attack. not all. but enough to go in the enemies village and win the game. :(
Is this a bug or how can i solve this problem?

Re: Scripting demo release candidate

Hey guys, one question.
You already have an nice idea(from one that was written here down) to change the archer movement back? :D I´m only asking, because (it already is clear, but I wanna point it out) its really not fair and balanced with the new archer stop thingi.
Is the idea that some guys mentioned, that you can normaly move your archers(like in original kam) but the animation will be continued, so you cannot cheat on houses/armies, doable or not?

Re: Scripting demo release candidate

As we've said many times, archers being unresponsive will be fixed. In fact it already has been fixed, I did it a week or so ago.
So if anyone asks you about this (in team speak or in game or where ever) let them know it's unintended and already fixed.

I think Pawel meant not "if", but "how" will it be changed, but the first post Lewin mentions, answers the question anyway.

As this is getting annoying, I've been trying to spread the word, but I think that your post here will silence the crowd ;)

Re: Scripting demo release candidate

Well this is not my problem. You cannot expect that everyone will read everything, specialy after the big part with the building order discussion

Like Sado said, I wanted to know HOW you fixed it.

Archers will now respond to orders instantly like before. They remember the last time they fired an arrow. Next time they go to fire an arrow, they check if they have waited long enough since the last time. If not, the reloading animation plays for however long they need to wait.

Perfect. This is also how many other RTS games work, too, so I am definitely please to see this :)
