I just started with Merchant from "Knights & Merchants"
Some years ago everyone of my friends used his name and his birth year to make an e-mail adress. So i did myname_92@..... (born in 1992) So to make my first forum name i connected the Merchant with the _92, but merchant_92 was already in use, so the forum gave me some tips, that were close. I liked merchant_992 best, so since then it is my forum name. Never seen the merchant_92 on that forum btw.

Well, I was kinda thinking about a new name and when I played Heroes of might and magic 4, I thought of my combi-name. Had a hero there that had some lightning attacks (which I like) and could summon up wolves (also like).. I changed the lightning into thunder because I thought it sounded a bit better, so since then I've been known as Thunderwolf on a lot of games/websites.. If it's already used I mostly add my birth year, 1989..

My one is just my name, with added some random numbers, probably suggested by a script when I was registering one of the older e-mail accounts and had no idea for an original nickname :D. Some people may find it confusing (how many ones and zeros he just said?), but fortunately it's usually unused.
