Re: MegaMap Project

That bridge is ridiculous indeed, and I think the snow should be replaced with dirt, but other than that well done. :)
Come on TDL, do you think I'd miss this wonderful opportunity to do something stupid and unusual? xD I got a bit pissed that the overall map theme was grass (with some desert accents), and I wanted my part of the map to be as recognizable about my style as for example To's part is. And that bridge... I was like "eh, I got no damn idea what to do, I'll just paint a random divided bridge out of boredom..." and when I saw the result I thought it actually looks better than expected :D

Yeah... I figured I need to somehow continue it, and promote interaction between players. I hope Koczis and whoever was below me (Menszu?) will use this oportunity to make a nice river there.

I think that too much of the "mountain" is covered with snow; it doesn't just look like the mountain top is covered. Personally I wouldn't have used snow, but sado wanted some :)

Also, as a bridge, it is ridiculous, but to me it looks more like a "guard rail" or something so serfs don't fall in the water :D

Re: MegaMap Project

Overall map looks pretty since every part of it gets so much love and attention. Only time will tell if gameplay stand up to the visuals : D Speaking of which, when I signed up I was dissapointed all base spaces were already taken, so I took the first big fighting space. And now... it turns out it's in the middle of already worked areas, and I have to somehow tie it all up. This task is challenging, I love it : D

EDIT1
Okeeeeey

I feel somehow lazy doing it in single day since it took us months to get here. But hopefully the works would speed up with fighting spaces.
Hope you like it, I'm very satisfied with the way all locations corespond to each other, I tried to continue the themes of neighbouring spaces, and added some new ones. Especially north-east might be influenced with darker tiles and snow. (Sado started it :D)

Btw if there are spaces left and nobody would take them before we finish I'll gladly take some more, this was great fun, like advanced puzzle.

EDIT2
Ah, I took freedom of correcting single tile in south-middle loc. The stone deposit edge was missing in one place, and since it was bordering my field and was obviously not intentional I changed it ; )

Re: MegaMap Project

I must admit that I expected a poor performance because you only spent a day on your partition, but I am glad to see that I was wrong. I don't like the very thing white mountains though. Your part looks a bit of a mix of Woloszek's and Thunders (maybe that's all in my head though ;)) so I think that is good. I also see that you continued sado's snowy mountaintops, so I must congratulate you as a "team player" :)

Now for Vas...but is he active right now? :P

Re: MegaMap Project

I didn't notice that before. I wonder if Menszu accidentally hit your area with some grass? I'm sure this wasn't on purpose.

Woloszek, how did you go about fixing this problem? Did you use the Remake's copy/paste feature?

Also, good move on skipping Vas for now :P Good luck Shadaoe!

I hope this is not done it on purpose  hehe. Yes Ben, Lewin gave me new version with option copy/paste. Praise him for it :P

Edit:
In view of the fact that we have snow on the map, I have a title for the map: "The Four Seasons"  XD

Re: MegaMap Project

Woloszek, my sincere apologies. And I wondered why the black border was crosed in southern part, so it must have happened right a the begining of my editing, probablly when choose the brush before I painted whole of my part with grass with random tiles. I haven't even grow suspicious about the swamp since obiects were intact :$ :$ :$
Hope copy-paste worked fine?

Apart from that I send Vas a PM right after I finished, hope it wouldn't cause any desinchronisation in the works.
