Towers during peacetime

Hello!

I just won my first 1vs1 game (congratulations me!! ^^).
However, we both encountered each other by the choke point before peacetime was over and both started constructing towers there. Mine were up first, and as soon as a stone was carried in, it would fire off at my opponent's builders. So I wondered: is that supposed to happen?

It depends on which map you played this, it is not possible on most maps unless you are really trying to do it.

The map was "Welcome to the Jungle".

It had to do with the map. It's really small, so the chance meeting each other is kinda big.

Yeah, welcome to the jungle isn't a very good map in my opinion. Better to play a map like Golden Cliffs or Wilderness for 1v1

Or my favourite 1vs1 map is LOST IN THE SANDS, its hard for some players because of the gold, but in general really nice.

How could I forget about LitS! Another one of To's master pieces Of course you have Horseshoe, but that match is reserved mostly for a building contest as the fighting room is small.
