Old demo

before i had this game, i originally played a demo from pc gamer world, but i can no longer find it anywhere onthe internet.

it contained the original town tutorial, and a battle tutorial that was similiar to a later tactical mission in the peasants rebellion.

wondering if anybody knows where to find it?

It needs some file swapping. In TPR SR3 (and maybe before) it looks like this, in data\mission directory:
mission0.dat - town tutorial with enemies - this file is loaded in menu
dmission0.dat - town tutorial without enemies, known from TSK
mission99.dat - battle tutorial

If you want to play battle tutorila, rename mission0.dat to something else, and then rename mission99.dat to mission0.dat and play tutorial.

i used to watch my brother play it, although when he got the proper game he wouldnt let me play it (mean)

ok, tried it, it did work, but sorry it wasn't the one i was on about. the battle is on a peasants rebellion map (mission 8 i think). had 24 lance carriers, 16 scouts, 16 axemen, 20 bowmen.

What version of what demo is that??

The battle tutorial he is talking about can be played in the 1.20 and 1.30 demos. That is the English 1.20 demo.
